rest from my sweater

I'm almost done with body ribbing for my sweater, but I took a few days rest coz I'v been sick for a few days now

my neck an shoulders muscles is hurting me, I had a flu plus been exposed to cold wind sometimes while wearing summer clothes in home and sweatting after house work , to me it's the main reason for muscles pain , so it's not just knitting

I want to finish it so much but in the same time don't wanna hurt myself more , so I'm knitting 3 or 4 rows every time, but I'm better now , can't wait to be fully ok from the flu and start keto diet , and be healthy all the time inshaallah 

My actually first sweater

Hello everyone,  first I'm so sorry I know I haven't been written for long time,
All this time I wasn't knit a lot,  usually socks with slow process due to my hands pain, 
I have decided to start ketogenic diet so I can treat my nerves pain symptoms,
I'm having flu right now so I'll start keto after getting better

Now the important thing is that I have started my first decent sweater,  I had knitted three sweaters before
1: the first one was way before I understand how sweater fit and before my understanding of body measurement terms in English,  I write the pattern by myself and it was disaster,  too big cardigan with half sleeves (coz I ran out of yarn and keeped searching for it for three years after I knit it),  I was determined that I knit it all in one piece although I didn't have circle needles,  so I used 4 straight needles to knit it,  3 needles hold the stitches and 1 working needle  I know that was the stupid thing to do but I followed very bink knits video (without buying the pattern that knitted with much thinner yarn) 
This sweater was the beginning of my nerves pain,  it was too heavy on my hands and I couldn't see the brown yarn well so my neck was laying down all the time,  it's not good story,  never wearing it.

2: my second sweater also was my pattern,  simple drop shoulder sweater,  it acrylic  (before I understand the difference between yarns)  size was just fit in,  while it supposed to be with much more positive east, I had wear it couple times outside,  and now only wear it at home.

3: my third sweater was for my father,  body was good,  sleeves are too wide so I sew it and it was my first successful sweater I knit also by my pattern,  never sew the buttons in it, he told me that he want to choose the buttons by himself, I gived it to my father at my wedding day with a big kiss and thank you,  don't know if he had wearing it or not,  but I'm happy,  it takes my four years to finish it(again I ran out of yarn )

I can't be thankful more for her,  I'm so happy my the sweater progress till now,  my measurement it excellent and I'm about to finish the yoke now,  I pray that it came out nice

But the shocking thing is that I have found 100% wool yarn in Egypt  I almost can't believe it till now,  I went to a store never been before and asked the man there about a yarn that have the higher % of wool,  he said 100% wool??  I told him : yes if you have,  he gave me Himalayan Efsun yarn,  once I touch it I couldn't believe the label,  100% wool!!  Are you sure??  He said yes,  how much you have?  And colors??  I couldn't believe so I searched on ravelry and boom I found it ,  it’s so rough but still love it,  I'll go next month to buy as much as I can from the new stock he will have, while finally I have some money, I'm so happy  .

waffles mitts

workingon my new pattern (waffle mitts), it's so easy and fun to knit, finished left hand and knitting right hand now, although it's fun to knit I cant keep my mind away from knitting knee high sock coz of the weather , it's too cold and my legs are freezing, but I will fight this feeling and finishing this mitts firs also coz of the weather :))

yesterday I went to buy something and once I got out to the street my fingers went numb, I couldn't feel the coins in my hand, so I'll finish it first and moving to the the socks.

   

First fingering sock

I finished my brother sock ( sock#6 ) at 3am and stayed up till (6:43am) to get a nice picture of it , it's my first fingering yarn sock and I'm still learning every day new trick 😀 

Yarn is ontheround-spontaneous-sock-yarn ( thanks @Lauralie Haikin ) it's very beautiful yarn , I love it

When there is nice people on Earth

I'm extremly happy with three lovely ladies will sent sock yarn to me , I can't believe how lovely they are , and finally what I was doing in my whole life is reterned to me now , thanks god .

I have been nice and generous person my whole life , since I was four years old and taken care of my younger twins for 20 years , and helping friends and family and strange people ( don't mean to brags ) but I never get anything back , always get harm from people and always people said that I'm naive and stupid and people take advantage of this, And didn't mind that until two years ago , and I start not let any one get advantage me .

Now I get pay back , and can't stop crying from happenes , I'm so happy

First socks in progress

Can't sleep , knitting in bed , my first socks , that's two days work , just finished the gusset decrease and continue with the foot for few row till I fall in sleep , really liked the yarn so much and the color too , didn't like the magic loop , prefer DPN 8" , going tomorrow to store to buy it I hope I could found size 3.5mm , wish me luck

Jarbo sock yarn in Egypt

I can't believe it , I actually found sock yarn in Egypt 🙊🙊 , the seller and the store owner are ignorant , I almost had heard attack every time I touch acrylic 😁, and I can not describe the look on their faces when I asked if there is another yarn 75%wool 25% nylon , it was like I speak hieroglyphs😂😂 ,Thank god they let me go around and read labels on each yarn in the store , I'm so hungry for knitting socks , if I liked the yarn I will go back and purchase the remaining 6 skein (from the same color, I have no choice) and knit different patterns , wish me luck with this yarn

I started the first ankle sock.  Ans I love it allready , the color and the yarn 

I went to the store and bought all the 7 skien in the store ( from the same color ) and planning to testing in dyeing
